The Trial of Dedan Kimathi
This commissioned project by East African Educational publishers will produce a Gīkūyū translation of the English version of The Trial of Dedan Kīmathi by Ngugi wa Thiog’o and Micere Githae Mugo (1976). The Gikuyu title, Igerīo rīa Dedan Kīmathi will be published by East African Educational Publishers in 2021.
Mzalendo Kimathi
A unique genre that depicts Kenya's struggle for liberation. The protagonist is Kimathi, a staunch leader of the Mau Mau revolution. Despite being persecuted in many ways, Kimathi completely refuses to surrender to British imperialism.

Kenda Mūiyūru
I am translating Ngūgī wa Thiong’o first epic poem, Kenda Mūiyūrū from Gīkūyū to Swahili. This project is commissioned by East African Educational Publishers and will be released in 2021.
